Beauty

I can agree with the saying that beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. Beauty lies in all we know. From the cascade of rain beating down on the roofs that so conveniently shelter us, to the microscopic organisms that pave routes through the deep veins of this earth. When I look out my window and see the delicate wings of a beautiful butterfly fluttering past, or stand on the rocks at the beach and watch the setting sun, it sometimes makes me wonder why we cant always see and appreciate the beauty in the life we rush through so quickly. We take the beauty we see everyday for granted. We don't always look deep enough to see that everyone and everything is beautiful in their own way. To the human race in general, we think beauty means perfection. If God wanted us to be perfect, it would be so. But instead he made us our own individual, in many ways different from anybody else. We all deserve that at least one person out there who will love us and find beauty in us where nobody else has.
There are so many things that make up the components of beauty. Things we overlook, or don't see because our heads are filled with rumors or facts about this certain person or thing. We don't want to look bad or do the opposite of everyone, (which is usually the right thing) for fear that we wont be accepted as "cool". But beauty is so special and unique to us all. Beauty is what you should see in yourself as you are. Beauty is what those who don't judge, but look for themselves, find in others. Beauty is what lies everywhere, from the jagged bolts of lightning that cut across the night sky, to the tips of the luscious green grass that covers this earth. Beauty is a type of disease we all have, just in different forms. You may not see it in yourself, but there is always someone that will - and Beauty is all I see in YOU.
